Governing Councils

The Interfraternity Council serves as the governing body for IFC affiliated fraternities charged with establishing minimum standards for the community, managing the recruitment process, enforcing ethical conduct by member organizations and offering opportunities to strengthen the Greek community.

NPHC serves as the governing body for the historically African-American fraternities and sororities housed at Samford. The NPHC manages community issues, institutes community programming and serves as the collective voice for the NPHC Greeks when needed.

The Samford Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for sororities represented by the National Panhellenic Council. Panhellenic provides community programming, leadership opportunities for sorority women and effects minimum standards for the Panhellenic sororities while insuring ethical conduct by member organizations.
